One of the biggest names in television has been announced as Richard Arnold's surprise special co-host for Haven House Children’s Hospice’s Autumn Ball on Thursday 5 October.

Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway will co-host the glitzy black tie event, sponsored by The Health Lottery ELM Ltd, at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, with on-screen showbiz pal Richard.

For the past two years the Autumn Ball has been hosted by TV personality and Haven House Ambassador Mark Wright. This year the charity has introduced a new double-headed presenting format for even more excitement.

Guests will arrive on the red carpet for a drinks reception at 7.00pm followed by a night of fine dining, live music and the excitement of a spectacular auction.

Kate Garraway said: “Richard has been telling me all about what a great charity Haven House is and I am delighted to be co-hosting this year’s ball with him.

“I know it’s going to be a brilliant night which can hopefully raise a fantastic amount for the hospice.”

Haven House PR & Celebrity Manager Scott Roberts said: “Kate Garraway is a TV icon with millions waking up to watch her on Good Morning Britain each day.

“The chemistry she has with Richard Arnold is so entertaining and we are very grateful that Kate has agreed to co-host our Autumn Ball.

“This year’s event is going to have a completely different feel and we will be announcing more celebrity guests who will be attending nearer the time.”

Celebrities who have attended the Autumn Ball over the years include, Haven House Patron Vicki Michelle, Christopher Biggins, Casey Batchelor, Michelle Heaton, Michelle Keegan, Carol Wright, Jessica Wright, Mark Wright Snr and Mitch and Janis Winehouse from the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Since 2013 the Ball has helped raise nearly £270,000 towards Haven House’s vital work of supporting life-limited children and their families in North and North East London, West Essex and East Hertfordshire.
