We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ralph Coulbeck as our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Ralph will be joining the organisation at a vital time, as all healthcare services, and the people who rely on them, face challenges on multiple fronts. He will be pivotal in helping us achieve our mission of providing the highest quality of palliative and holistic care to babies, children and young people and their families in our local communities.

Ralph joins us with a background of over 20 years in healthcare, most recently as CEO of Whipps Cross Hospital where he also led the Waltham Forest Healthcare partnership; bringing together primary care, community service and the voluntary sector to deliver improved services for local residents. Ralph has significant leadership experience in working across the NHS.

Following the appointment, Ian Ailles, Chair of the Board of Trustees, said:

“ On behalf of Haven House, I am delighted that Ralph will be our next CEO. Ralph has considerable experience in the healthcare sector. Ralph brings with him the vision, authenticity, and leadership style we’ll need to continue to meet the challenges ahead. I am confident that under Ralph’s leadership, Haven House will make further strides towards its vision in ‘Delivering the Extraordinary in the Ordinary Day’.

Ralph said:

“I am delighted to be appointed as Chief Executive of Haven House in its 20th year. I'm excited by the opportunity to lead an amazing team of people who are all making a difference, enabling excellent care to be delivered to babies, children, young people, and families. Together we will continue to implement the organisation's strategy that extends our reach, tackles inequalities, and works with our communities and partners providing care for babies, children and young people who have life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.”

Ralph will commence in the role on October 9.
