For parents

No one should feel alone when caring for a child with a life-limiting condition or diagnosis.

Our family experience survey highlights the vital role that Haven House has in caring for seriously ill children. We received 5* results in our care, meeting individual needs, inclusivity and accessibility.

“Having a child with a complex condition is extremely challenging. I do not think we would have kept together as a family if it wasn't for respite days.”

Read more about what our families say about our care in 2021.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality palliative and holistic care services to babies, children and young people and their families in our local communities. If your child or family are supported by Haven House, sign up to our parent newsletter

Safeguarding and protecting children, young people, young adults and visitors from harm is giving the highest priority at Haven House. Read our Safeguarding Statement.

To share your experiences and help shape our service delivery you can meet with Haven House Trustee, David. Or, if you are a Haven House family and would like to send us feedback, write to us at our Family Forum, Haven House Children's Hospice, The White House, High Road, Woodford Green, Essex IG8 9LB, or please complete our feedback form or make an appointment here.
